Friendly Fridays

Brrr!  Winter is definitely here with temperatures that can truly be called cold!  Whether you prefer traditional books, books on tape or CD, eBooks, digital audiobooks, or some other format, now is a good time to stay indoors with a good read.  For those of you who have to go out in the cold, don't despair!

The library is a nice warm place to take a break from your weekday errands.  In addition to all the wonderful books, magazines, newspapers, movies, and music CDs on our shelves, we have comfy leather armchairs scattered throughout the main level.  We have public internet computers on both levels, as well as WiFi that you can use with a simple password.

Are you looking for a little warm conversation?  We have that, too!   The Friends of the Virginia Public Library will be hosting Friendly Fridays throughout the rest of this month and February.  Volunteers from the Friends group will be on hand to help facilitate some light banter on the subject of books, reading, authors, characters, and more.

Join us on Friendly Fridays and warm up with coffee, goodies, and conversation!

Good conversation.  Great books!
