New Look!

At the beginning of every year, thousands of people resolve to change their lives in some way. It may be to quit smoking, begin exercising, purge their wardrobe, or even update their website.

That is exactly what the library has done! Our tired, old website was ready to retire and we were ready to replace it with a fresh face. After months of working with ArtUnlimited in Cook, Minnesota, we are pleased to introduce our new website to you:

With the new website comes new access to our blog. Our new blog is part of our website and can be accessed either through the website itself or from this link: http://virginiapubliclibrary.info/blog/.

Have you bookmarked our website and blog addresses? Make sure that you update them on your web browser so that you can stay abreast of what's happening @ your library!

Virginia Public Library Blog Policy

Comments must be relevant to the topic and respectful of all VPL patrons. In order to maintain an appropriate exchange of information, the following rules are to be followed at all times.

All comments of the VPL blog are subject to moderation by VPL staff and will be rejected for inappropriate content including, but not limited to, sexually-explicit material; copyrighted or plagiarized material; defamatory statements; hate speech; violent, abusive or threatening language; personal attacks; commercial promotions; and private or confidential information.

The VPL blog may not be used for any unlawful or inappropriate purposes, including, but not limited to, transmission of any sexually-explicit material; transmission of copyrighted or plagiarized material; commercial activity; transmission of computer viruses or “spam” e-mail; harassment; or impersonation of another.

Pursuant to federal law, 47 U.S.C.A. 230, VPL is not liable for comments posted by users. VPL is not obligated to take any action and will not be responsible or liable for any content posted. By posting a comment, you agree to indemnify VPL and its officers and employees from and against liabilities, judgments, damages and costs incurred that arise out of or are related to the content that you post.
